There is something powerful about a room filled with young people who refuse to simply accept the world as it is.
That is the spirit with which I imagined DIPLORAMUN’26.
I wanted to create a space where young minds could step beyond textbooks and headlines and enter the conversations that shape our world. A space where it is perfectly acceptable to question, challenge, disagree, defend an idea, and change your mind when presented with a better one.
Because diplomacy is not merely about speaking well. It is about understanding deeply. It is about recognising that behind every conflict lies a perspective, behind every decision lies a consequence, and behind every global challenge lies an opportunity for someone to make a difference.
I believe the young people debating these issues today will be the ones sitting at the tables of power tomorrow. They will negotiate peace, shape policy, lead institutions, build nations, and perhaps solve problems that seem impossible to us today.
So, DIPLORAMUN’26 is my invitation to you: bring your questions, bring your convictions, bring your curiosity—and most importantly, bring your voice.

In a world where we are constantly surrounded by opinions, perhaps the most meaningful thing we can learn is how to understand the person behind one.
DIPLORAMUN’26 is not just about meeting new people; it is about discovering the stories, experiences, beliefs, and perspectives that make each of us different. It is about sitting beside someone whose world may look completely different from ours and choosing, for a moment, to see the world through their eyes.
I hope every conversation here teaches us that understanding does not require agreement. We can disagree and still respect. We can challenge and still listen. We can come from different places and still walk forward together.
The friendships we make here should be built not merely on shared interests, but on the willingness to understand each other a little better.
